Jennifer brings over 20 years experience in business strategy, marketing & sales, and finance with high growth corporations and private ventures in the US and internationally. As Managing Partner of EMERGING GROWTH Enterprise’s San Francisco office, Jennifer partners with Core Management and CEO’s to turn proven products and services into profitable high growth businesses positioned for market leadership.

Ms. Marks is a recognized senior executive-entrepreneur with Bay Area and Australasian growth companies. Expert at business planning, market development, and exit strategies, Jennifer has worked in voice & video, risk management, security, and therapeutics (HIV and SARS), health care, legal and human resources product and services platforms.

Most recently, at Pure Markets, a Silicon Valley VC-backed financial services venture, Ms. Marks headed Business Development, working across product development, marketing, sales, and operations, while growing the company from 2 to 70 personnel. Ms. Marks closed numerous instrumental business, technology and funding partnerships, and acquired enterprise accounts to accelerate time to revenue.

Previous strategy development and execution experience spans both consulting and multi-function general management roles. Ms. Marks worked for leading strategy consulting practices - Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) of Menlo Park, CA, Accenture Asia Pacific, and Towers Perrin’s Bay Area Strategy & Organization Practice, working with Corporations seeking rapid growth and facing key strategic decisions. Clients included: R&D strategy and portfolio optimization for leading Global Pharmaceutical Company; JV structuring for major Global Media Company and Broadband Operator; M&A integration for Inter-State Energy Companies; acquisition and divestiture for Multinational Corporation and Global Media Company; technology transfer partnership for leading US Automobile Manufacturer, and product & distribution strategy for Global CPG Company.

Ms. Marks completed Bachelor of Commerce studies in Finance and Quantitative Systems at Otago University, New Zealand (NZ) and holds an MBA from Canterbury University, NZ, completed at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She contributes on a wide range of technology groups within the bay area.
